He is a supervillain in comic books by DC comics. He first made his appearance in The Flash #139 in 1963. He is one of the best speedsters. Thawne once found a time capsule in the 25th century, which contained a costume of Flash (Barry Allen). He reversed the costume colors and adopted the moniker of ''Professor Zoom the Reverse-Flash," and he went on a crime spree. Eobard Thawne grew up idolizing the Flash and studying the legacy of the scarlet speedster. He found that his life was somehow linked with the Flash, and he was destined to be a villain of Barry Allen. After the chemical accident that gave the flash super speed, Thawne took the role of a wicked identity, and that is Reverse Flash. His main task was to go against everything that the Flash does. The Reverse-Flash has got all the powers and abilities similar to the Flash. But he uses it to destroy everything, which is important to flash. However, the reverse Flash could never kill the Flash because the Flash was his inspiration. But he tried everything in his power to torment his hero. He tortures the Flash. His ability to travel the time gives him an extra advantage. Because of this advantage, he can attack Flash at any point throughout his whole history. His special powers are super speed, intangibility, durability, time travel, intelligence, superhuman agility.
