Will Batman or other Justice League heroes appear in Lanterns?

## What’s confirmed

Lanterns is an eight-episode DCU mystery series led by Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart. Its announced story is Earth-based and doesn’t name Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, or the Justice League.

## What about Batman?

No DCU Batman actor has been cast publicly, and no Batman appearance in Lanterns has been announced. Robert Pattinson’s Batman is also in a separate continuity, so there’s no announced connection between The Batman movies and Lanterns.

## The Guy Gardner possibility

Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner is already part of the DCU through Superman, and trade reports have said he’s expected to recur in Lanterns. HBO’s main Lanterns cast announcements haven’t confirmed him, though, so treat it as likely-but-unofficial.

## Could there still be a surprise cameo?

Sure. DC could be keeping a guest role secret, but there’s no solid evidence yet that Batman or any other major Justice League hero will appear.
